The holidays in the South is an experience like no other. If you live in an apartment in Charleston, SC you can enjoy reveling in the holiday spirit this weekend.
Saturday, December 1, from 5pm-7:30pm at the Charleston Harbor is the 32nd Annual Holiday Parade of Boats. You can participate in the parade, just register, decorate your boat from stem to stern with lights, and join the other boats on the water. Or, you can join the thousands of spectators who watch the boat parade along the route from Mt. Pleasant to Charleston each year.
The parade begins at approximately 5:00PM near the Mt. Pleasant side and ends in the Ashley River, (after processing down the Charleston side of the Cooper River), at approximately 7:30PM.
If you also want to attend the City of Charleston’s Official Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Marion Square also on December 1st , there is time to get to the waterfront and enjoy both.
