In the spirit of community, The Sustainability Institute and the Johns Island HomeGrown Farmers Market will kick off the New Year with an Oyster Roast, to be held Thursday, January 16th, at the Island Oak Shopping Center, 2817 Maybank Highway, from 6-9:30 pm. The all-ages event, which is open to the public, will feature an oyster roast, hot dog cart, fine libations and live bluegrass music.
The cost of admission is $25 per person or free to members of The Sustainability Institute. All proceeds from this fun event will benefit The Sustainability Institute and the Johns Island Farmers Market.
