The second reason why you shouldn’t buy boxed DVD’s is because of your pleasure.
Much of the pleasure a person finds in opening gifts is in the seeking and finding out. It’s the surprise of it all, the infamous bucket of gold at the end of the rainbow. Imagine an 18 part DVD boxed set, if each DVD were wrapped individually and given as a bundle of gifts the initial joy would be much greater than that of just one box. Maybe the giftee would catch on nearly half way through what the rest of the packages are if you totally go against my advice and get a boxed set of DVD’s. But to see so many presents before them at first would provoke a great smile and sense of joy that couldn’t be easily wiped away.
With a one case gift of 18 DVD’s most of the buzz is used up all at one time. So you can clearly see my point in not buying boxed DVD’s rather for yourself or for others. Experience the joy over and over with gift after gift. You may or may not agree so feel free to voice you opinion.
