I am in the market for a PC Tablet.
It can be a bit inconvenient at times trying to lug around a full
size laptop everywhere I go even if I just for a few moments of work.
A PC Tablet gives the best of both worlds. Even though the standard tablets may not yet completely replace a laptop it does come close. The average computer user logs onto their computer and 89 percent of the time goes straight to the internet. So a PC Tablet can replace a laptop if that’s how most laptops are used. Just keep in mind that right now, tablets are more for consuming content than producing content.
Go Tablet, Go… straight to the internet, upon the super information highway we ride into the night.
The iPad is cool, but it just isn’t what I’m looking for. I thought I had found the perfect tablet but I’m still looking. The Archos 9 was small enough to carry anywhere but big enough to have a full screen of Google.com right up in my face. Call me a geek but, it’s just something about the Google home page that really inspires me.
PCWorld helped me on my search to find the perfect tablet. They reviewed several tablet PC’s that weren’t the iPad. Take a look at this article: Attack of the ‘iPad-Killers’ — 32 Tablets, Slates, Pads and More and see if you have any ideas.
