In 2011 we all have to make some changes in our lives if we won’t to see changes in our lives.  With that being said, there are three things that every student should know about finances.

1. There’s no such thing as free money.
2. There’s no direct value on time.
3. There’s no point in wasting money.

The Holiday Season should be fun and filled with laughter.  This seems like the ideal time to spend money but the worst time to have to worry about it.  Don’t let a lack of finances put a damper on your Holiday cheer.  Here are a few things that you could do in order to keep some extra cash in your pocket this season.

1. Make a donation in someones name: This will really be an indicator or where your friends heart is.  If you tell someone that your gift to them this year was a donation to a non for profit organization what do you think their reaction will be?
2. Package holiday goodies: make up a nice display of your favorite candies and treats.  You can use a clear bag and tie it with a ribbon.  Make the pack look good and it could be one of the best gifts received all year.
3. Make gift yourself: The Homemade route can be very effective if you come from the heart.
