I pick my horses just like I choose my football teams. It’s all about names and colors and it’s probably a good thing that I don’t actually bet. Not in any particular order, here are my favorite contenders.
#18 Backtalk- This horse is racing with the number of my daughter’s birthday. 18 is my absolute favorite number. Plus, the name Backtalk kinda reminds me of my daughter. She is turning 2 next month and the “nos” have already started!
#8 Dean’s Kitten- A horse that is called a kitten must be so sweet and gentle. I think this horse must get made fun of quite often for his silly name, thus he deserves to win.
#10 Paddy O’Prado- This is the only horse of a different color. He is speckled with tons of white. Beautiful and unique from all of his brown competitors.
#2 Ice Box- This horse’s name reminds me of Ice Box cake, and I love cake. Ice box cake is layered graham crackers with chocolate pudding. What’s not to love?
So there you have my crazy picks. Now. don’t go running out to waste any of your money betting on these horses. I pick for fun and I’ll be interested to see if any of these horses make the top 3.
