Halloween weekend is almost here. But if you are looking for more places to trick or treat than in your apartment in Charleston, SC, here are some guaranteed good spots.
Trick or Treat in the Park. The City of Charleston kicks off Halloween on Friday October 28th from 4-6. Hampton Park will be packed with parked vehicles decorated in Halloween themes. Children 12 and under are invited to come out in costume and enjoy jump castle, a costume contest, face painting, hay rides, games and prizes and candy!
Towne Centre in Mount Pleasant will also be celebrating Halloween early with Trick-or-Treat for a Cure from 12-4. Stores marked with balloons will be handing out candy and there will also be horse drawn hayrides, face painting, and balloon art.
Northwoods and Citadel Malls are getting into the Halloween spirit with trick-or-treat events. From 6 - 8, participating stores will be handing out candy to those wearing costums.
Remeber, the city of Folly Beach has forgone the trick-or-treat tradition, instead holding a Halloween Carnival. It will be held at the Folly River Park on Center St. from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Halloween night.
