We do not have a weight limit at Abberly West Ashley. We do not have breed restrictions we just require a meet and greet with the animals to make sure they are not vicious. We do not allow exotic animals (ferrets, snakes, lizards, etc).
We allow 3 animals per apartment but maximum of 2 dogs.
There are non refundable fees that go along with being an animal owner. The first animal requires a $400 non refundable fee. Second animal $100. Third cat $100. Animal fees are not applied to any expenses as a result of animal damage or cleaning charges.
Unlike other communities, our office does not require a security deposit. Only a one time fee of $175 is required per apartment with an approved application.
We do offer options to terminate your lease early, requiring at least a 60 days' notice in writing.
Included in the rent we provided Valet Trash/Recycling and Pest Control.
We offer lease terms between 3-15 months. Short term leases are at a premium.
You have a couple of options on how to report a service request. You can submit a service request through the online resident portal or you can call it into the office.
Rent is due on the first of every month.
You do not accrue late fees until the 6th of the month.
We do accept electronic payments however they must be in our office by the 5th of the month to avoid late fees.
There is no reserved parking. Residents are issued a decal to ensure parking convenience.
It is necessary to provide the office with all people that will be residing in the apartment or anyone staying more than 14 consecutive days.
You can install a ...satellite dish within your patio after providing the office with proof of renters insurance. It cannot make a permanent change to the building and has to be within the patio to meet our guidelines. You will also need to have certain exposure to get a signal. If you do not, there is nothing we can do to aid you with this issue.
Cable, high speed internet, and landline phone services are provided by Comcast.
We will accept packages in the office. We will send a courtesy email when time permits and will hold a package no longer than 14 days.
We do have preferred employers, call to find out if your employer is on the list.
Staff is wonderful on all levels, response to requests, variety of interactions with us, kindness, cleanliness, beauty of property and I could go on.
I have moved to Charleston 3 times over the years and each time I come to Abberly for a place to live. Even if it means putting myself on the wait list for availability.
